Why do scorpions glow in the dark ❓

Scorpions have a glow in the dark, oh what a show! it’s because of a protein, that they produce,It’s like a spotlight, that gives them a boost. 🦂

📌Scorpions have a special feature called “fluorescence,” which allows them to glow under ultraviolet light. This ability is due to the presence of a substance called “fluorescent pigment” in their exoskeleton. When exposed to ultraviolet light, the pigment absorbs the energy and re-emits it as visible light, causing the scorpion to glow and also help them to detect prey and avoid predators in their nocturnal habitat.
